V’S FANART STORYTIME.

So to wind down Shoujo Manga Month (which in our hearts will last all year), here’s a collection of some of the fanciest fanart for one of the best shoujo manga and anime ever made, Revolutionary Girl Utena. If anything deserves to be called a deconstruction of shoujo or magical girls series, it’s Utena. The essential Neon Genesis Evangelion of shoujo, Utena has the perfect mix of the surreal with a healthy amount of school drama and canon queer text.
