More doodles for Balderdash!

I like thinking about how the magic works. I imagine everything has basically equivalent qualities with or without magic. I doodled a bunch of herbs from a great Herb field guide and wrote down their properties, particularly if they had any historical “magical” qualities. 

The items from the second picture are for Georgie’s journey. The bread, potions, spells, cured meats, and dried fruits were designs for what her mom packs up for her before she leaves. And the stuff in pencil are just general sketches for magical trinkets. (I may or may not have used jewelry from poupéegirl as reference) 

Also let’s all just admit that I really love Marion Churchland. I’m trying really hard to find my own way of drawing food and trinkets without relying on her too much!
