I actually never read them as a kid! But I’ve been reading children’s books since I was a child. The Golden Compass books are by far one of the best that I’ve read. Chrestomanci’s up there, too. And right now I’m reading the Neverending Story. 

You should pick them up again! Stop being lazy!
