Designing stuff for Balderdash!
I had a witch from the North (Georgie) and a witch from the South (as-of-yet unnamed witch also living in Löffel) wearing each others’ clothes, since the two come from different witch cultures.
The pointed cap that Georgie is wearing is meant to channel magic easier, in a kind of Golden Compass-y way. And the kerchief that the Southern Witch is wearing is a Northern Witch tradition. Northern Witches go through a rite of passage when they make a handmade kerchief from magic thread. Because it’s made with magic material, any enchantments cast upon it to make it a green cap or a floppy hat or a helmut or whatever will last longer. It’s like make-up, I guess, but for clothing.
